Shobhit is Counsel in the Dispute Resolution team at SKAA. He specialises in commercial arbitration and litigation. Shobhit regularly acts for clients in domestic and foreign arbitrations, contractual disputes, intellectual property cases, shareholder disputes, debt recover proceedings, foreign decree executions, and constitutional writ proceedings before various forums in India. Shobhit frequently appears before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, arbitral tribunals, and the National Company Law Tribunal.
Previously, Shobhit practiced with the Advocate General for the State of Sikkim. Here, he acted for various clients before Supreme Court of India in appeals relating to commercial arbitration, land acquisition, affirmative action in education and public employment, amongst others. He has also practiced before the National Green Tribunal, appearing in various cases of environmental concern.
